About Korea Markets Brief
Korea Markets Brief is written for people outside Korea who own, or are thinking about owning, Korean stocks.
Most English coverage of the Korean market is fast news. We do something narrower: the dates, rules and numbers you need as a shareholder, such as when the last day to buy for a dividend is, what time the market opens in your time zone, or what a new rule changes for foreign investors. Each figure links to the Korean primary source it came from.
Who writes it
Gamnamu (pen name) writes from Seoul and reads Korean filings, exchange notices and company IR material in the original. The same writer also runs a Korean-language stock blog on Naver. Every number and date is checked against the primary source before publishing.
What we don't do
No stock picks, no price targets, no "buy now" calls. This site is information, not investment advice.
